Investors Snap up Music Row Properties

A pair of local investors has bought two office buildings totaling 10,000 square feet near the intersection of 18th Avenue South and Division Street near Music Row for $1.95 million.

Dube and Greenlee Properties LLC, which includes Drs. Scott Dube and Jeff Greenlee, apparently purchased the buildings located behind Virginia’s Market for investment purposes.

Both buildings are fully occupied. Cambridge Swinerton, an Atlanta-based construction firm building residential high-rises in the Music Row and Midtown area, occupies the two-story building at 705 18th Ave. S. Tenants of the three-story building at 707 18th Ave. S. include the Law Offices of Woods & Woods, several music companies and three music studios.

Woodstrust LLC, which includes attorneys Larry D. Woods and Allen Woods, has owned the Victorian buildings for 11 years. “Real estate in the Music Row area is booming right now,” Allen Woods said. “It’s a good time to sell. Prices are high.”

Earlier this year, Greenlee bought an 11,000-square-foot building at 214 Third Ave. N. downtown with five condo-style apartment units for $2.3 million.
