Swinerton Speaks at Design ConferenceContributor: Swinerton Blogger | November 19, 2014 | Image Gallery »
Swinerton’s Bret Hall recently spoke on a panel along with several of Denver’s leading architects on adaptive re-use and building repositioning at the Colorado Real Estate Journal's 2014 Commercial Architecture & Interior Design Conference. With hundreds of guests in attendance, the annual conference is the state’s largest commercial interior architecture and design conference of the year.
More buildings across Denver and Boulder are currently undergoing re-use or repositioning, as older properties are being hard-pressed to compete for tenants; this push is against the new developments happening in Denver Union Station and other hot sub-markets.
Swinerton has successfully revitalized buildings with entry and lobby updates and transformed empty big-box retail spaces into inventive office environments through partnerships with building owners, real estate developers, and single-use tenants.
