Topping Out at Denver’s Next High-Rise HotelContributor: Swinerton Blogger | April 08, 2015
Swinerton Builders, Shiel Sexton, and White Lodging have topped out at the Hyatt House & Hyatt Place Hotel in downtown Denver, Colorado. A structural steel beam was hoisted to the top of the 21-story, cast-in-place concrete tower as the last piece of the structure.
This new dual-branded hotel at 14th Street and Glenarm, provides 361 hotel rooms which are divided between Hyatt Place, a select-service hotel, and Hyatt House—an extended stay product. Each hotel will have its own entrance, lobby, restaurant and lounge area; though hotel guests will share conference rooms, a swimming pool and workout area, and four levels of parking with 114 spaces.
The structure totals 306,000 square feet and is located near the Colorado Convention Center and Denver’s 14th Street theater district. The hotel is scheduled for completion in November.
