Topping out East Quad Campus for Denver Public Schools

Construction is well underway on the design-build East Quad Campus, as the project achieved superstructure completion in mid-April. Altogether, the 75,800-square-foot, two-story building consists of 313 tons of structural steel. Ultimately it will provide two wings for classrooms and a second area housing the gym, cafetorium, and warming kitchen for 500 students when it opens.

Swinerton Builders Colorado is constructing this education project on 16 acres of land just west of Denver International Airport. Our work also includes development of a master plan that will enable Denver Public Schools to build additional capacity on the campus to meet future demands. A sizable site work package involves the civil infrastructure leading to the campus including the construction of new roads and utilities to access and supply the property.

Our partners in delivering this design-build project include Eidos Architects, McGlammery Engineering Group, MKK Engineering, HCL Engineering, LEI Companies, and AMI Mechanical
