Building Healthy Futures in the High DesertContributor: Swinerton Blogger | May 31, 2014
Swinerton provided design-build services for the new two-story ambulatory care facility with central plant and separate one-story building that is seeking LEED® Gold certification. Working closely with Architect Lionakis, the Swinerton led team delivered this new $98-million, OSHPD-3 compliant project for the County of Los Angeles High Desert Health System.
The 142,000 square foot complex consists of a new ambulatory care facility housing a large ambulatory surgical center, adult and pediatric primary care clinics, urgent care clinic, a women’s clinic, medical and surgical subspecialty clinics, and ancillary diagnostic and treatment services. The one-story structure will house administrative and support services.
Excellent healthcare begins with exceptional facilities; Swinerton is proud to be building a healthier future for Lancaster and the surrounding communities.
