San Francisco Soars in Fight for Air ClimbContributor: Swinerton Blogger | August 13, 2015
On March 28, a crew of 20 determined Swinerton team members set out (and up) on a mission to conquer a 52-story vertical road race in one of the San Francisco skyline’s most monumental and statuesque high-rise buildings—555 California Street. The stair-climbing team successfully hiked their way to victory with all team members completing the 1,197-step epic trek to the top of the tower.
Sponsored by The Swinerton Foundation, the Fight for Air Climb is one of the American Lung Association’s most unique fundraisers with climbs taking place across the nation in prominent skyscrapers, stadiums, or arenas. Thanks to the stair-climbing team’s notable efforts, Swinerton raised $4,665 that will directly support the organization’s mission: fighting to save lives by improving lung health and preventing disease.
Special thanks to the stair-climbing team for your time and tremendous efforts!
