Swinerton’s Northern California Healthcare team recently completed three complex projects on the Stanford Redwood City campus. The first, the Surgical Suite Shell project, involved the build-out of a shell space in the surgical suite, and the incorporation of an adjacent storage space into the main project area to create an outpatient changing area and two new operating rooms. The second project, the ENT Clinic Remodel, involved converting multiple rooms in the sleep clinic into exam and treatment space for the ENT clinic; the space features one of the West Coast’s few craniofacial 3D printers for ear, nose, and throat reconstructive surgeries. The third project consisted of a remodel of administrative office space to provide more room for the Sleep Faculty’s staff and traveling doctors. Each one of the many clinics and departments involved remained fully operational during the course of construction.
Thanks to their efforts, the team delivered the projects on time, exceeding owner expectations and receiving high praise for their work. “Swinerton ran the best construction job we’ve ever worked alongside,” stated a clinic manager.
Congratulations to the team!
