On Wednesday February 22nd the Coos County Airport District, Department of Human Services, and Swinerton Builders gathered at the new site for the Coos County Department of Human Services building. The $12.1-million project cost, 50,000-square-foot build-to-suit facility will consolidate offices for the Regional Child Welfare and Self Sufficiency programs.
The team worked diligently through preconstruction with the client and LRS Architects to design a facility to meet the current and future needs of the programs that will be housed there and stick within the budget and deliver the project by January 2018.
Congratulations to the project team on the office ground breaking of their project: Project Manager Andrew Georgesen, Preconstruction Manager William Silva, Superintendent Troy Wistrand, Project Engineer Troy Jensen, and Project Coordinator Kristi Roche.
