Swinerton Builders Seattle recently added a new department to its roster—the Service Department—which performs all necessary tasks, that as a general contractor, we are required to complete. Our goal is to continue to be a trusted partner to clients for scopes of work otherwise deemed for smaller companies; develop and strengthen client relationships; and create a working relationship where no job is too small.
The department offers cost-effective pricing, timely responses, accurate project estimating, scheduling, and top-notch project execution and quality. Clients who utilize the department include Deloitte, Honeywell, Union Bank, and T-Mobile®. Some of the projects completed to date have involved “elevated” creativity—one client requested the team build a panel covered in Lego mats to support a 3D Lego design protruding from a wall.
A snapshot of the more typical tasks administered include: DFH, framing and drywall, painting, MEP, floor patch and repair, casework repair and new installation, MACs, miscellaneous accessories, FF&E owner supplied items, problem-solving and cleanliness, progress photos, and communication.
