2016 has been filled with significant accomplishments for the project team working at Swinerton’s 399 Fremont jobsite located in the Rincon Hill area of San Francisco. Not only did the team receive the second and final TCO for the top 22 floors of the new 42-story high-rise tower—which turned the building over two months early—but the project recently received an Award of Merit in the Residential/Hospitality category in ENR’s Global Best Projects competition!
For this year’s competition, a panel of industry veterans were tasked with the difficult challenge of selecting only 23 winning projects from the hundreds submitted from 15 different countries and five continents around the globe. Swinerton's 399 Fremont project was the only project to receive an award in the Residential/Hospitality category!
This sleek new tower, which is now well established on the San Francisco skyline, boasts 447 units ranging in size from studios to three-bedroom penthouses. A terrace dedicated to residents’ canine companions is located on the third floor, while a pool surrounded by cabanas for outdoor entertaining, along with a fitness center are situated on the fifth floor. Thanks to the tremendous efforts of the project team, the new award-winning building has quickly become one of the most highly sought-after places to live in San Francisco!
Congratulations to the entire team: UDR, Project Management Advisors, SCB, and the project’s consultants and subcontractors!
