Swinerton provided design-build services to Park ‘N Fly for three structures at their new parking lot in South San Francisco. This single-phase, project is an expansion of the existing Park ‘N Fly facility which accommodates off-airport parking for San Francisco International Airport. The site is located just off of Highway 101 at Produce Avenue.
Design and construction began at the beginning of the year and completed this fall. Scope of work included: survey, demolition, earthwork, concrete pile and mat slab foundation systems, pre-manufactured steel structures, MEP, fire sprinklers, roofing, and
The project also consisted of the design and construction of two pre-manufactured canopies, the 140-foot-by-140-foot “Main” canopy and the 20-foot-by-37-foot “Ticket Booth,” and a 42-foot-by-20-foot office building. Work on this portion of the project included: structural excavation, foundations, pre-manufactured structures, design-build electrical, mechanical, and fire sprinklers; and
all finishes inside the building.
