As 2016 comes to a close, every employee at Swinerton has a lot to reflect on—and a lot to be thankful for. Our employee-owners are committed to high quality workmanship; safety in the field and office; and integrity, leadership, passion, and excellence in all that they do—and nothing reflects that better than how much the people of Swinerton gave back to their communities this year.
Altogether, Swinerton employees volunteered 4,400 hours of their time for those in need across the nation, and The Swinerton Foundation contributed over $500,000 to local communities and worthwhile causes.
Swinerton’s annual Fall Giving Challenge was also a smashing success, as employees delivered and exceeded on every single goal laid out at the outset of the Challenge.
· We collected 31,490.64 lbs. of food, which will provide 26,242 meals to our hungry neighbors.
· 6,079 jackets and socks were collected to clothe homeless and disadvantaged individuals.
· We donated 1,386 hours to local non-profits, which provide food and clothing to those in need.
· With a $35,000 contribution from The Swinerton Foundation, we will donate a total of $63,432.70
to local non-profits that support programs which address food scarcity, homelessness, and
provide assistance to seniors and adults with disabilities.
So as this year draws to an end, Swinerton extends a sincere thank you and congratulations to our employees, clients, and trusted partners for another fantastic year. Your service is a testament to just how much Swinerton Cares for the communities it serves.
