Swinerton “OnCue” in San JoseContributor: Swinerton Blogger | January 26, 2015
In the heart of Silicon Valley where break-out technologies are born, Swinerton is partnering with cutting-edge technology providers before they become household names. One such company is OnCue, a recent acquisition of telecommunications giant Verizon. OnCue is at the forefront of alternative television broadcasting, including live internet, broadband, and on-demand.
Swinerton Builders Silicon Valley recently completed a 132,000-square-foot project for OnCue in San Jose, California, that comprised the complete interior build-out of a market ready warehouse and two-story office building. Work was completed on an accelerated 14-week schedule and included building four Intermediate Distribution Frame rooms, two lab spaces, and three café break room areas; a data center; two uninterruptable power sources with generator backup; structural upgrades to the roof; relocation of a satellite dish, and various high-end finishes throughout.
Look to see OnCue on the market soon—it will change the way the world watches television.
