Swinerton’s Own Named 2014 Good Scout of the Year

Congratulations to Senior Vice President Don Adair who was recently honored as the 2014 Good Scout of the Year by the Boy Scouts of America, San Diego-Imperial Council! As the guest of honor, Don received this much deserved award during the annual Construction and Building Industry Lunchoree fundraising event in La Jolla, California. Over 300 people in attendance including colleagues, industry leaders, family, and friends, proudly cheered on Don as he accepted this prestigious award. The Good Scout of the Year award is presented annually to a well-respected individual who projects the principles of the Boy Scouts of America in their daily life, and for their dedication to community service.

In addition to honoring the Good Scout of the Year, over $150,000 for scouting was raised for the Boy Scouts of America, San Diego-Imperial Council during the Lunchoree.

Don began his career with Swinerton in the late 1980s and has been an inspiration and role model to all ever since. No other comes to mind that would be as well suited for this award. As a professional, Don holds numerous achievements under his belt. As an advocate of teamwork, Don is well respected throughout the industry and is recognized as an exceptional role model and for being able to “get things done.”

Congratulations Don!
