Swinerton Builders Texas and Friends and Allies Brewing recently completed a new warehouse space just a few short months after celebrating the groundbreaking. Joined by Friends and Allies’ customers, family members, and friends, the group celebrated the occasion at Springdale Station in East Austin with a catered fajita lunch, delicious brews, and live music.
Friends and Allies’ new facility is located in the warehouse space behind Springdale Station. The project will involved the build-out of 10,000 square feet of space, along with new areas for the fermentation, brewing, and canning processes; grain for the beer will be stored and milled on site. The facility will also include a tasting room and covered patio for customers to enjoy the brewery.
Friends and Allies was founded in mid-2015 by industry veterans and buddies Devon Ponds and Ben Sabin who since, have successfully mastered West Coast brewing techniques and practices with East Austin culture, delivering palette pleasing, high-quality beer to thirsty patrons and beer enthusiasts.
Stay tuned for project updates on this highly anticipated facility!
