Swinvitational Scores a Hole-in-One!

Held at Ruby Hill Golf Club in Pleasanton, California, the 2015 NorCal Swinvitational was a major success! As one of the most anticipated fundraisers of the year, the Swinvitational provides Swinerton employees with the opportunity to join together with partner companies for a day full of golf, while raising money for a wonderful cause. The much enjoyed fundraiser is an employee favorite for the camaraderie it instills and success it brings to The Swinerton Foundation.

With golf balls, drivers, and putters in hand, this year 150 participants from over 50 different companies took to the green, determined to swing their way into the first place spot. In addition to the 19-hole tournament, a Bocce ball game was held for participants as well.

After a fun day on the green, attendees enjoyed a delicious dinner along with a prized raffle. During the meal, Swinerton’s own Alan Wolf and Rich Howell, along with Tarlton’s Doug Holland and Kasey Wallace were crowned the 2015 Swinvitational tournament champions. After a heavy round of applause, attendees cheered as Swinerton’s Steve Johnson and Tony Williamson, along with Raymond’s Tim Stiller and Brent Christensen were then named the Bocce ball winners. All victors were presented with trophies for a job well done.

In one of the most successful tournaments to date, The Swinerton Foundation surpassed its 2014 fundraising totals, raising over $90,000! Thanks to the generosity of our participants and sponsors, The Swinerton Foundation is able to contribute sizeable donations to various charities and nonprofit organizations throughout the nation.

Many thanks to all those who made the 2015 NorCal Swinvitational a success!
