Giving Back to Little Bits

Swinerton Builders Seattle has been a dedicated partner to Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center (Little Bits) for many years, supporting its mission to improve the bodies, minds, and spirits of children and adults with disabilities through equine-assisted therapies and activities. On September 23, thirty-five Swinerton volunteers teamed with Salesforce and Ski’s Painting to provide much-needed repair work to Little Bits in Redmond, Washington.

Swinerton led groups of Salesforce volunteers to teach them labor skills and about the work at hand. Projects included painting the event house, landscaping, replacing a barn door, laying a French drain system, expanding a pipe shed, and building a new loafing shed. Altogether, volunteers donated a whopping 440 hours of their time. It was a rewarding day partnering with a client and teaching them a new skill set while sprucing up the site for a deserving non-profit partner.

The mission of Little Bits is also to be an inspiration and educational resource to the therapeutic riding profession, both regionally and nationally, and Swinerton Builders Seattle is proud to make this their fifth consecutive year of contributing to this great organization.

Thank you to all of the Swinerton volunteers who dedicated their time to teaching and using their skills to help their local community!
