A Moss Definitely Deserved First Place Win
Even though they were literally building inside a box, it was Swinerton Interiors San Francisco’s outside-the-box window display that took home first place for people’s choice award in the annual IIDA Windows Competition! The goal of the competition is to beautify and dress-up empty storefront windows in the Union Square and Financial District in time for the holiday season, and highlight the vibrant creativity of the local design and construction community.
Swinerton partnered with Interior Architects and Sidemark as one of 20 teams to design, furnish, and construct an 8’0” x 8’0” window scene. While their theme of “home” was simple, the end result was anything but with moss covering the entire inside of the room!
