Bank of America Wins Design Award
In January 2006, a panel from the City of Fairfield's Design Awards Program toured recently completed commercial projects to seek out examples of design quality. Among the winners of the 2006 Design Awards was the Fairfield Bank of America project in Green Valley.
The challenges of this project were successfully met by the team of Superintendent John Campbell, Project Manager Beth Doyle and Project Engineer LaTrice Browning. This project was unique to the team because it was ground-up construction, and the project team expertise has been primarily in the tenant improvements arena. However, they educated themselves about every aspect of the project, and came out winners.
The Design Awards panel liked the forms, colors and materials used in the project. They also liked the integration of the graphics with the building architecture. Gensler was the Architect of the project.
