Bureau of Indian Affairs II Regional Office
Federal Albuquerque, New Mexico
Design Build project for the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is responsible for the administration and management of 55.7 million acres of land held in trust by the United States for American Indians, Indian tribes, and Alaska Natives.
This facility is the Southwest Regional Headquarters for the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). The BIA office consists of a new 3-story building, adjacent to an existing occupied facility and the construction of a covered corridor connecting the new building to the existing building.
The facility contains a data center to serves as the main backup facility for the entire national operations of the BIA, a training facility and administrative offices. To secure the site a crash-resistant perimeter fence and crash-resistant gates surround the facility. This design-build project was completed on time and under budget.
