University of Hawaii Manoa Frear Hall Student Housing

Project includes the demolition of existing Frear Hall and construction of a new student housing complex in the heart of the UH Manoa campus. UH Manoa Student Housing capital improvement program is a 197,000-square-foot facility consisting of two 12-story concrete towers. The post-tensioned towers are joined by a bridge spanning between the towers on every level. Frear Hall includes 810 beds grouped into 240 double- and single-occupancy units that share a common area. Amenitites include a social lounge, game room, conference room, private study rooms and bike/surfboard storage area. Frear Hall has achieved LEED Silver.
