Design-build services for a four-level, cast-in-place concrete, fast-track parking structure for Abbott Vascular in Temecula, including the construction of a 260-foot-long pedestrian bridge. The post-tensioned concrete parking garage consists of 1,618 parking spaces.

Despite Owner-requested additions made within the last month and a half of construction, the structure was completed two months ahead of schedule. The scope changes facilitate the future addition of facilities planned for construction as part of Abbott Vascular’s East Campus development.

Included in the additions are over 600 feet of storm sewer at depths requiring trench shoring, a security system package, and a conduit bank that will eventually link the West Campus with the future East Campus. All additional work was completed using phasing, to avoid interference with the scheduled occupancy date.

Also included was the construction of a pedestrian bridge between the parking structure and the existing main office campus across Ynez Road. Approximately 6,000 people cross this road daily.
