This project includes construction of lobby areas, internal offices and conference rooms, and open cubicle areas. Architectural features include all-glass entrances and storefronts, decorative metal and woodwork, and oversized flush wood doors. Finishes include stone and carpet floor tile, textile and fabric wall coverings, and a natural palette of painted gypsum wall partitions. Materials installed with recycled content include drywall, ACT ceiling tiles, carpet backing, linoleum, VCT, and solid surface counters.
The building management requires 50% waste diversion for construction of tenant improvements. For the total duration of demolition and construction of the build-out the requirement was exceeded as waste diversion came in at over 59%. For operations after construction the kitchens on each floor and lunchroom on the 18th floor have been designed with built-in sorting bins for recyclable materials that will be used by occupants.
