Swinerton performed tenant improvements for Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), a national non-profit health organization headquartered in Englewood.
This project involved the tenant improvement of a 98,000-square-foot headquarters relocation. Covering six floors, the scope of work involved complete demolition of all walls except for core walls. Swinerton added break rooms on each floor, finished boardrooms and lobby areas in high-end millwork trim, and employed extensive tile work in both the break rooms and reception areas.
The project contained extensive electrical renovation with motion sensors throughout, custom millwork in the mailroom, and extensive wall covering. Electrical changes occurred in the meeting rooms, including a main conference room and training room areas, lighting in a light cove area in hallways, and custom-built glass shelving into wall. The shelving is constructed with no brackets so it appears as if it is floating. Swinerton replaced 80% of the ceiling tile and grid and 80% of the light fixtures. An extensive filtration system was also installed.
Additional projects for this client include: the remodel of floors one through three, and the remodel of the fourth floor which included the demolition and construction of new office spaces, ceilings, carpet, paint, and millwork.
