This project consists of the seismic upgrade of three historic buildings for conversion into 54 luxury fractional residential units. Seismic upgrade includes the strengthening of existing historic masonry walls, additional spread footings at the foundation, new brace frame structures and shotcrete walls. The site is one of San Francisco's most popular tourist attractions so maintaining pedestrian safety during construction is challenging.
