Swinerton Builders provided construction services for this $36- million laboratory and classroom building.

This new two-story laboratory and classroom building houses chemistry, biology, zoology, aerondynamics, physics, civil engineering and environmental laboratories. It also features an observatory and includes a 100,000-square-foot underground parking facility and an 8,000-square-foot observatory tower. The parking area was fully membraned and waterproofed and included decorative concrete paving. This facility includes a dual level draining system.

The project utilizes the Energy Management & Control System and features cathodic protection, grounding and lightning protection, computer access flooring, communication data cabling and CATV coaxial cable.
