As projects became increasingly more complex and expensive, Owners and Developers found it imperative to ensure that their projects were carefully planned, designed and executed. In 1994, Swinerton responded to these needs by forming Swinerton Management & Consulting (SMC) to focus exclusively on providing Program, Project and Construction Management.
SMC provides comprehensive program management services to clients with several facility assets. Our understanding of multiple, and often competing needs between an Owner’s core mission and management and maintenance of facility assets enables us to work collaboratively in developing a capital improvement program to guide the deployment of limited resources. Our experience in both the public and private sectors is broad reaching, ranging from renovation/seismic upgrades to tenant improvements for small commercial establishments to new construction of some of the largest and most prestigious structures being built today.
