Spotlight on Success: Pearl City Gateway Manana
The Pearl City Gateway Manana project is a redevelopment of a 13.5-acre site along Kuala Street, which formerly housed military warehouses. Following demolition of the existing structures and mass grading of the site, Swinerton Builders-Hawaii, the general contractor for the new work, performed on-site improvements, off-site improvements, the phase l and phase ll buildings, and tenant improvements for PETCO and Babies ‘R’ Us.
George Ehara, vice president and division manager of Swinerton
Builders-Hawaii, reports that work was begun on June 23, 2008 and
“was substantially complete exactly one year later.”
