Swinerton Renewable Energy Selects AET To Supply Ground Mounts For 22.6 MW Seven Sisters Projects In Utah

Applied Energy Technologies (AET) has been selected by Swinerton Renewable Energy to provide its Rayport-G ECO mounting system for the 22.6 MW Seven Sisters solar projects in Utah's Beaver and Iron counties.

Developer SunEdison broke ground on the projects in April. Swinerton Renewable Energy is serving as the engineering, procurement and construction contractor on the projects.

Completion of the four sites in Beaver County and the three sites in Iron County is expected in the third quarter. The projects will use more than 74,000 305 W solar panels. Once complete, the combined generating capacity of all seven projects is expected to be 40 GWh of electricity
per year.

Rocky Mountain Power, a division of PacifiCorp, will purchase the electricity under seven separate 20-year power purchase agreements with SunEdison.
