At the state’s largest construction event of the year, with over 750 key industry leaders, representatives, and supporters in attendance, Swinerton Builders Colorado received the ACE Award for construction excellence at this year’s 27th annual AGC Ace Awards & Industry Gala. The annual event celebrates industry accomplishments within the year and reflects upon the impact of innovation in construction.
This year, 10 general contractors put forth their best projects in the $10 to $40 million project category, which Swinerton received the notable ACE award for transforming the historic 93-year-old Byers Junior High School into a state-of-the-art Denver School of Science and Technology Middle School. Completed in August for the start of the 2014 academic school year, the project was selected by a peer panel of out-of-state judges.
Swinerton was also honored an Award of Merit in the less than $10 million project category for our superior performance in recladding the Colorado State Bank building in downtown Denver. Swinerton is proud to deliver these successful projects and shape the smart spaces in which tomorrow’s leaders thrive.
