2018: A Historic Volunteer Year for Swinerton SoutheastContributor: Swinerton Blogger | January 02, 2019
The results are in, and Swinerton Southeast made charitable history this year. More than 400 hours – that’s how much time our team volunteered in 2018. Congrats to everyone with Swinerton in Atlanta, Charlotte and Raleigh on a successful year of giving back!
We capped our year of charitable success by winning our size tier in Swinerton’s Fall Giving Challenge – with 100 percent employee participation, we logged 187 volunteer hours and brought in more than $26,000 in contributions. As a result of the companywide accomplishment, Swinerton Southeast won additional funding for community organizations including a $10,000 grant benefitting Sandy Springs Community Assistance Center, and another $10,000 grant that went to the Charlotte Rescue Mission.
We’re proud to report that throughout the year, our volunteer efforts positively impacted many community organizations, a few of which include:
- Keep North Fulton Beautiful
- Trees Atlanta
- Park Pride
- Kennesaw Mountain Trail Club
- Sunshine on a Ranney Day (SOARD)
- Camp Twin Lakes – the “Zen Den”
- Sandy Springs CAC
Looking to 2019, Swinerton Southeast has another successful charitable year in store!
