A Day of Giving, a World of Difference

Once again, Swinerton employees and Colorado State University (CSU) students demonstrated their leadership and dedication to helping those less fortunate as part of the CM Cares program at CSU.

Swinerton Senior Project Engineer Kris Kreymborg organized and led another successful build day in April, providing Mr. and Mrs. Zamora of Loveland, Colorado, with a new deck that provides safe access to their backyard (so they can enjoy it with their grandchildren), and an ADA-compliant bathroom.

CM Cares is a service-learning program in the Department of Construction Management at CSU. Students participate in the CM Leadership Course to manage small community service projects throughout Northern Colorado. Volunteer students and industry members are engaged to complete the work that benefits families and organizations in need.

The Swinerton Foundation is a financial contributor to the CM Cares program. This assistance, combined with the planning and manual labor of build day, results in fulfilling the construction needs of deserving families in Northern Colorado.
