The #InsideStory of Silicon Valley’s Summer

Things are heating up in our Silicon Valley office with a slew of recent activity in the field and community. Several great tenant improvement projects have successfully completed for corporate clients including Samsung, Verizon, and eBay. We’re also excited to continue our legacy in education, with preparations well underway for the fall groundbreaking of our UCSC Coastal Biology Building & Campus Development project.

Enjoying fun in the sun while networking, our team recently sponsored the 27th Annual AIASCV Golf Tournament at Coyote Creek Golf Club, where we served barbecued tri-trip and lots of laughs with our longest marshmallow drive contest. The good times continue in the office with celebrations welcoming new additions to the team, Intern Project Engineer Steven Phares from California State University, East Bay, and Director of Preconstruction Cheryl Johnson, a more than 15-year Swinerton veteran and Bay Area native.

We were also very proud to support Team 831, led by our own Director of Quality Mark Hallock, in the AIDS/LifeCycle, a 7-day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles that raises money and awareness in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Our Silicon Valley team sent Mark off with cheers of encouragement and our Los Angeles office welcomed him across the finish line with accolades.

Whether supporting local charities or self-performing scopes of work Swinerton Builders Silicon Valley’s #InsideStory is our passionate, dedicated people whose expertise is taking building to new heights. Build Bold. It’s what we do!
