Swinternal Summer Events in Seattle

Swinerton team members made sure to take advantage of the uncharacteristically sunny summer they had in Seattle! The season started off in June with the team’s first Hikes & Hops of the year, where the group hiked Rattlesnake Ridge. It was a beautiful day—maybe even a little too hot for a typical Seattle day in June—but the team cooled off afterward at a local pub in North Bend.

Next up was the team’s annual Swinerton Summer Barbeque, held for the second year in a row at Lake Sammamish’s Vasa Park. This year the team really ramped up their efforts by having a bouncy house for kids (and some brave adults), awesome raffle prizes, hilarious games, and amazing homemade food! Things may have gotten a little out of hand with the impromptu water fight, but it was somewhat necessary given the intense heat that day!

The team’s second Hikes & Hops event took place in July where they conquered the Snow Lake hike on Snoqualmie Pass—for any of you that are planning a trip to Washington, the team highly recommends this hike because of its amazing views!

Last but not least, was the team’s second annual Swinerton Mariners Game. They also ramped up the efforts on this fun event by hosting a beer garden at Pyramid Brewery where all those in attendance could bring a plus one to join in on the team bonding! The Seattle team’s favorite motto is “Work hard, play hard,” which they fully exercised this summer!
