Colorado’s Marketing Efforts Shine

By Ally Coan

Swinerton Builders Colorado had a successful night at the Society for Marketing Professional Services’ Excellence Awards event, held at The Curtis Hotel in downtown Denver on February 13. Swinerton walked away with an award in the “Specific Project Marketing” category! Entries in this category included items developed in support of winning a specific project and were judged based on marketing objectives, creativity, quality, content, and results of the marketing effort.

Swinerton’s entry consisted of a supplemental video for a proposal made for a potential client to showcase the relevant experience of our project team, a client testimonial, and our commitment to the project. Our goal for this video was to stand out from worthy competition and create a lasting impression with the client. The video featured a tour with Superintendent Steve Sparrow and Colorado Division Manager Scott Conrad of the NEMA (10th and Market) project in San Francisco and an unscripted client testimonial from SmithJones Partners, a well-known and respected Denver developer, regarding our skill for preconstruction services.

The judges were very complimentary of the video and some of their comments included: “very functional and effective for the target audience”; “message and delivery of the message were very well executed”; and “impressive work in 11 days.”

Congratulations to the Colorado marketing team on their hard work, creativity, and customized project pursuit!
